CENTRUM Católica is proud to sponsor the V Eduniversal World Convention, the first ever in Latin America, and the Business Schools possess all the facilities and assets to make this convention a real success.
CENTRUM Católica enjoys a flexibility of expertise that would enable it to make important contributions to a wide variety of thematic areas.
In addition, CENTRUM Católica has wide-ranging alliances with sister schools and corporations that broaden its ability to access speakers and experts on a variety of subject matters. CENTRUM partnerships include the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University, Babson College, the University of Miami School of Business, the University of Calgary and the Université Laval in Canada, the Maastricht School of Management, in The Nederlands, Grenoble- Business School in France, I.A.E de Lyon in France, Instituto de Empresa y EADA in Spain, ESSEC Business School Paris-Singapore and Leon Recanati Graduate Business School in Israel.
Lima Peru, the home base of CENTRUM Católica, is a modern, cosmopolitan city of 8 million persons and the capital city of Peru, one of the most beautiful and fascinating countries in the Americas.
Lima’s recently modernized Jorge Chavez International Airport receives daily direct flights from Miami (5 ½ hours), Atlanta and Houston (6 ½ hours), Newark/New York (8 hours) and Los Angeles (8 ½ hours), as well as from Madrid (12 hours) and Amsterdam (12 ½ hours) and numerous Latin American capital cities.
As the leading business school in Peru, and among the top schools in Latin America, and ranked among the top schools worldwide in the Financial Times and other business school rankings, CENTRUM Católica would draw the participation of the score of high-quality business schools in Peru and any number of Latin American schools. North American, European and Asian schools would be drawn by the growing international reputation of CENTRUM, its international alliances mentioned above, and by the ease of travel to Lima and the rich possibilities for tourism before or after the Conference, including Machu Picchu, the Nazca lines and/or the Galapagos Islands.
Peru also enjoys a growing reputation for its fine cuisine, and Lima is home to numerous restaurants where the visitor can enjoy some of the finest dining available anywhere. Lima is also home to several fascinating museums, including the Gold Museum, conveniently located 5 minutes from CENTRUM Católica.

CENTRUM Católica enjoys a modern campus in a pleasant residential neighborhood bordering on the Andean foothills at the eastern edge of Lima. For a virtual tour, go to: http://www.centrum.pucp.edu.pe/tour/1.htm
CENTRUM Católica infrastructure received a national architectural design award shortly after its construction in 2001. It is a revolutionary infrastructure whose innovation integrates technology and a modern educational environment.
The campus is surrounded by gardens, the classrooms are air conditioned, and WI-FI technology is offered for wireless transmission through this area and regular students are given a notebook laptop on their first day of classes. Every sitting spot on the campus has 24/7 internet access, and every classroom counts on the latest generation of multimedia equipment, anti-fire sensors, automatic screens and auto-gradual illumination and chalk board. There are large bathrooms on each floor and air conditioning throughout the buildings. The auditorium is used primarily for graduation ceremonies and can hold over six hundred guests. The cafeteria, with two levels, can hold a large number of people and is open throughout the day.
Facilities on the 4-acre CENTRUM campus are ideal for a conference of 100-500 persons. These include a modern auditorium that seats 550 and a cafeteria that will seat 80, with an adjacent garden where larger groups can be seated. There are two classrooms that seat up to 120 persons for large symposium sessions. Other flat classrooms seat up to 60, while amphitheater-style classrooms seat up to 40.
The Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, our parent university, has a number of other facilities at different locations in Lima. One of these is an 18th century colonial mansion in the historical downtown district of Lima that is now a cultural center. This facility – the Casa Riva Aguero – was the site of a highly successful evening cocktail during the May 2006 AACSB Conference, and would be an outstanding location for the Conference´s opening night welcoming reception.
A more standard, alternative location for holding the Symposium’s opening night welcoming reception would be the at one of the luxurious meeting rooms at the Swissotel Lima (http://www.swissotel.com/EN/index.htm).
