The Official Selection of the best 1000 Business Schools in the world

The Official Selection is a selection of Business Schools made by a Scientific Committee that has established a global mapping system that meets the criteria of universality and the international reputation of each academic institution. For Eduniversal, a Business School’s international reputation is its capacity to enhance the prestige of a student – and therefore improve his employment prospects – in his country of study as well as internationally. Each country and each continent is represented according to a quota method. The number of schools per country is therefore weighted by quantitative and qualitative criteria.

The Methodology of Palmes Awards

The Eduniversal classification by Palmes is made based on two essential elements: the internationalization criteria and the Deans' vote

  • The Deans' vote

Zach Dean from the universities or schools on the list of the best 1,000 Business Schools can vote to recommend the other academic institutions. This vote is converted into a recommendation rate that the students can use to evaluate and compare the academic institutions.
These recommendations give another reply to the question: "Which of the following schools would you recommend the most to a person who wants to study in this specific country?”

  • The Internationalization Criteria :
    • the accreditations obtained by the schools (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA, State Qualification, etc.);
    • the main classifications (Financial Times, Shanghai Jiao Tong, Business Week, Asiaweek, Wall Street Journal, America savings, THES, SMBG, etc.);
    • participation in international academic associations (EFMD, CLADEA, CEEMAN, EMBA, AAPBS, etc.);
    • the partners network of Deans and Business Schools at international and local levels;
    • recognized studies and websites in the world of education and universities.

The Special Features of Eduniversal Ratings and Rankings Methodology

The Deans’ vote is one element that distinguishes Eduniversal. All Schools and Universities in the Official Selection are subject to the assessment of their international academic peers. The Deans’ vote is of such a relevant importance that this criterion alone can stand out as a reference system by which a student can identify his most suitable academic opportunities.

The subdivision of the Palmes into leagues allows a horizontally intercontinental comparison, which distinguishes Eduniversal from other international rankings which have established a vertical comparison system.

The most important 1000 Business Schools in the Eduniversal system are selected based on a method of quotas per country and per geographical zone. Hence, it gives all students access to sources of information which allow them to identify and compare the best institutions suitable for them at national, regional and international levels, no matter where they want to study, at home or abroad.
