Prof. João Amaro de Matos is Vice Rector of Nova University, Lisbon, having joined Nova School of Business and Economics in1995, where he has been Associate Dean for International Development(2005-2017) and Director of the PhD Programs. He worked for the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) as an expert for the internacionalization of Cuban Universities, was a member of the International Board of the Strasbourg Business School, and was a member of the Executive Board (2007-2017) of the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS),chairing its Research and Doctoral Education Committee (2008-2012) and its Quality Assessment Committee (2015-2017). He holds a Ph.D. in Management (1995)from INSEAD and a PhD in Physics (1988) from Sao Paulo University. He was a visiting scholar at Heidelberg University (1988-89), at the London School of Economics (2002), and at the MIT (2012). He teaches Corporate Finance, Investments, Derivatives, Risk Management and Continuous-Time Finance at all levels. Additionally, João Amaro de Matos has taught in various European and Brazilian schools such as INSEAD, HEC Geneva, INSPER and Getúlio Vargas Foundation. He is the author of the textbook """"""""Theoretical Foundations of Corporate Finance"""""""", (Princeton University Press, 2001), and also of """"""""Sustainability and Organizational Change Management"""""""", (Routledge,2015). He wrote more than 50 scientific works among books, chapters, papers, and conference proceedings. His research has been published in journals such as the Journal of Econometrics, European Journal of Finance, Mathematical Finance, Journal of Statistical Physics and Physica A, among others. João Amaro de Matos has participated in numerous conferences and seminars and has supervised many MSc and PhD thesis in the area of Finance and Economics. He has founded and organized since 2007 the annual Luso-Brazilian Finance Meetings.
Dr. Amorós is Professor and Associate Dean of Faculty at EGADE Business School, Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico. Until December 2015 he was the Executive Director of the Entrepreneurship Institute at Universidad del Desarrollo, Chile.
Member of several academic organizations and VP of Iberoamerican Academy of Management. His research interests are entrepreneurship and competitiveness, high growth new business, entrepreneurship and regional development, and corporate entrepreneurship with more than 100 publications. He holds a Ph.D. in Management Sciences from ESADE Business School, Spain. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and MSc in Marketing from Monterrey’s Institute of Technology, Mexico.
Horacio Arredondo was appointed Dean of EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico, in July 2022. He was previously Vice Dean of Graduate Studies and Executive Development at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (UAI) Business School in Santiago, Chile, where he also served as Executive Director of the Center for Family Businesses and as Professor in Strategy and General Management. At EGADE Business School, he is a Strategy and Organizational Alignment Professor, and his research focuses on Corporate Governance and Family Business. He is a corporate advisor and company director and has consulted in diverse industries in the public and private sectors and with NGOs across Latin America. Horacio is a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A) from the University of the Republic in Uruguay, with a specialization in Corporate Finance. He holds an MBA from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Chile, an M.Sc. in Research Methodology, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from IE Business School, Spain.
Dr. Anne L. Balazs became the first female dean of the John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of
Business and Innovation in 2018. She is an alumna of Smith College (A.B. Economics) and
earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
Prior to her academic career, she worked at Fidelity Investments as a registered representative
and assistant legal product manager. She has held faculty positions at the University of
Oklahoma, Mississippi University for Women, and Eastern Michigan University, where she
served as Department Chair of Marketing, Interim Dean of the College of Business, Interim AVP
of Graduate Studies and President of EMU’s Women in Philanthropy.
In 2013-14, she was an ACE Fellow at Bowling Green State University and the University of
Toledo. She is President of the MidAmerican Business Deans Association and serves on the
board of the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Balazs is a member
of UToledo’s Women and Philanthropy and the Leadership Circle for Girl Scouts of Western
Ohio.
Her research on value congruency, elderly consumer behavior, health care advertising, and
retailing has appeared in the Journal of International Marketing, Journal of Consumer Affairs,
Psychology & Marketing, and the Journal of Business Research and has been funded by the
Swedish Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the Richard D. Irwin
Publishing Company.
Tawhid Chtioui is a distinguished academic leader and entrepreneur. He is the Founder and Dean of aivancity School for Technology, Business & Society in Paris-Cachan since March 2020. He also serves as President of Groupe ISGA since November 2021 and of Art'Com Sup since August 2022, both in Morocco. Previously, he was President and Dean at Emlyon business school, leading Emlyon Africa as General Director from 2016 to 2018. His earlier roles include leadership positions at ICD International Business School, ISEG, and Université Paris Dauphine.

Catherine da Silveira is Associate Dean of International Affairs and Partnerships at Nova SBE. She joined Nova SBE after 14 years of executive experience, first in the L'Oreal Group and then in the IT sector as Marketing and Communications Director at Bull Portugal. Since then, she has been combining an academic role, as Associate Professor, currently teaching Brand Management and Luxury and Fashion Marketing to Executives and in the Masters Programmes, with executive functions within the School and the MBA: Currently Academic Director of CEMS, International Master in Management, International Master in Finance and Dual Degree Programmes at NOVA SBE and Director of the Stream in Luxury Management, Catherine da Silveira used to be Co-Coordinator of the International Programme of the Lisbon MBA Friday Forum (2008-2014), CEMS Corporate Relations Coordinator for NOVA SBE (2008-2010), Head of the Marketing, Communication and International Affairs Office at NOVA University Rectory (2005-2006), after launching, developing and leading NOVA SBE's first Marketing and Communication Office (2001-2004). Dr. Carolina Dams obtained her degree in Public Accounting from the University of Belgrano and has an MBA from the London Business School. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from IAE Business School.
Since 2013, Carolina has turned to academic life, teaching classes at IAE Business School in the Business Policy academic area. Between 2015 and 2019, she was Dean of the Business Sciences School at Universidad Austral. She was Director of Programs and Innovation at IAE in 2020 and 2021, and member of the Board of Directors. Since January 2022, she is the school’s Dean.
In 2005, she founded a consulting firm, A2C Advisors, which advised the manager of a Venture Capital fund, actively participating in the identification and evaluation of investments, leading the negotiation and structuring processes, and monitoring them. Previously, she worked at Hermes Management Consulting.
In 2011, she created an angel investment fund that made investments in technology start-ups. She was mentor of the NXTP Accelerator, investor and Director of Keclon S.A. (a biotechnology start-up) and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Germinare Foundation.
Dr. Rafaela Diegoli is the Academic Vice-Rector at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where she leads the development of the university’s educational model. She previously served as Dean of the Business School and Director of the Entrepreneurship Institute for the Central Region. With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Diegoli has been deeply involved in promoting entrepreneurship and innovation through education and ecosystem development across Latin America. She holds a Ph.D. in Business and Management from the University of Cantabria, and a Master's in SME Development and Promotion from the University of Leipzig, Germany.
Dr. Diegoli has worked with institutions like Laspau, training educators in Nicaragua and Brazil, and with other institutions in Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, and Honduras. Additionally, she co-taught the ""ABC of Lean Entrepreneurship"" MOOC on Coursera, which reached over 20,000 participants from 45 countries, and led hybrid courses with Brandeis University and UC Berkeley. Dr. Diegoli's work has been recognized by the QS Reimagine Education Awards, where she has been a finalist and judge.
Professor Tarik EL MALKI is a senior academic (Professor of Higher Education-PES) at Groupe ISCAE. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics (University of the Mediterranean, December 2010). Since December 2023, Professor EL MALKI has served as the Director General of Groupe ISCAE. Previously, he held the position of Director of Development, International Relations, and Communication, at Groupe ISCAE from 2016 to 2018, and Director of the ISCAE-Rabat Institute from 2019 to 2023.
Professor EL MALKI is an active member of several research organizations, including his role as President of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Observatory in Morocco, a member of the Scientific Committee of the Moroccan Economic Outlook Center, and a jury member for the Ecomédias Group Research Prize. He is also the Coordinator of the BLUE SPACE university incubator, a project in partnership with BMCE BANK OF AFRICA.
In addition to his academic and research roles, Professor EL MALKI is the author of several works, such as ""Corporate Social Responsibility: The Case of Morocco"" (Afrique-Orient, 2014), ""Beyond All Divisions: Crossed Perspectives on the Morocco of Tomorrow"" (co-authored with Nabil ADEL; Afrique-Orient, 2017), and ""Morocco: Which Paths to Emergence?"" (Afrique-Orient, 2020). He regularly participates in national media debates on economic and social issues.
Since 2017, Professor EL MALKI has been a member of the Political Bureau of the USFP (Socialist Union of Popular Forces) and served as a municipal councilor in Rabat from 2015 to 2021.
Camino de Paz is the Assistant Dean of Global Network Programs at Yale School of Management. She is responsible for curricular innovation and program development related to the Global Network for Advanced Management and oversees SOM’s interactions with Global Network member schools. She also leads Admissions for two of Yale SOM’s Degree Programs, the Master of Advanced Management and the Master in Global Business and Society. Camino also works collaboratively with other SOM departments to foster ways to leverage GNAM in support of SOM’s objective to become the most global US business school. Prior to joining Yale SOM Camino spent thirteen years at IE Business School in Madrid, one of the Global Network for Advanced Management member schools. There, Camino held different positions related to program management. She was Director of the MBA program experiencing its growth and internationalization, Director of programs coordinating the different program management teams and identifying synergies and best practices among IE’s program portfolio. She ended her tenure at IE as Associate Dean of Blended and EMBA Programs leading the portfolio of part time programs with different combinations of online and traditional delivery. Camino earned her Law Degree from Universidad de Oviedo and her MBA from IE Business School.
Sascha Fürst is research professor in entrepreneurship and innovation with EGADE Business School at Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico. He holds an affiliation as researcher in international entrepreneurship with Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku in Finland. He is a visiting lecturer at Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen in Germany, teaching business in the context of Latin America. Sascha received a PhD degree with distinction in international business from the University of Turku and a master’s degree in business and engineering from Technische Universität Kaiserslautern in Germany. His research interest is focused on the intersection of entrepreneurship, strategy, and international business.
Rajeev Gupta is the Country Head for TCS Mexico and Nearshore Head for TCS Latin America. Rajeev is responsible for Sales, Delivery, and Operations for TCS global clients being handled from Latin America He leads a team of 10 K professionals spread across the region TCS’ Nearshore Operations are the largest across any other IT company in Latin America Rajeev has 23 years of experience in TCS and has been associated with TCS’ top global clients in Mexico, Uruguay, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Spain and USA in different areas such as IT, Business management and development, Process management and Client relation management Apart from having spent more than 14 years in Mexico, Rajeev has worked in the USA for 4 years and India for 4 years for Fortune Top 20 clients He has been closely associated and is well respected with the Universities, Government bodies, and Industry forums across the region Gupta has been awarded as the Nearshore Executive of the Year 2017 by Nearshore Americas. He figures in the 2021 list of CIO 100 Mexico, and more recently, he received the Nexus Illuminate Award 2022 as Nearshore Lifetime Innovator. Dr. Hassan R. HassabElnaby joined the Haile College of Business at Northern Kentucky University in 2019. Prior to his appointment as Dean of the Haile College of Business, he spent 16 years at the University of Toledo where he served as the interim dean, the associate dean for Graduate Studies and Research, the chair of the Accounting Department, the director of the Master of Science in Accountancy and the director of the Ph.D. Program in Manufacturing and Technology Management. An award-winning researcher, Dr. HassabElnaby, specializes in the areas of financial reporting and corporate governance. He has received many research awards such as the Outstanding Paper Award from Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence in 2013, the Best Paper Award from the American Accounting Association - Ohio Region in 2009 and 2007, the COBI Outstanding Research Award in 2008 and the COBI Research Award in 2014. He has over twenty-five publications in leading accounting and business journals such as Review of Accounting Studies, Journal of Management Accounting Research, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, and Critical Perspectives on Accounting, among several others. Dr. HassabElnaby wrote and received many research grants from the United Arab of Emirates University, the USAID, and the University of Toledo. He also has been a financial consultant and served on boards of several non-for-profit organizations. He earned his bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD degrees in accounting from Cairo University
Dr. Aigerim Kaumenova is a visionary and highly analytical leader with over a decade of experience in international higher education, partnership building, and policymaking for internationalization.
Since November 2023, she has held the position of Director of CEEMAN, an international management development association.
In this role, Aigerim is focused on advancing the CEEMAN network globally by fostering partnerships with international associations, universities, and businesses.
Her aim is to drive the organization's mission forward, expanding its reach and influence through innovative collaboration.
Throughout her career, Aigerim has demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic acumen, particularly during her 11-year tenure at Almaty Management University, where she served as Vice Rector for Global Partnerships and University Secretary.
In these positions, she was instrumental in shaping and implementing the university’s strategic vision, attracting external research funding, and fostering diversity and inclusion.
Her ability to translate institutional strategy into practical outcomes significantly strengthened the university’s global reputation.

Beyond her roles in academia, Aigerim has been an active participant in numerous international organizations.
From 2019 to 2023, she served as a Board Member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry France-Kazakhstan, where she played a key role in fostering international business relations.
She continues to contribute her expertise as a Member of the Advisory Board of the Halifax Institute for Global Interdisciplinary Collaboration in Canada, a position she has held since 2022.

Dr. Armida Lozano Castro is currently Director of Internationalisation at the EGADE Business School of Tecnológico de Monterrey, EGADE's Monterrey, Mexico, and Latin America campuses. From August 2006 to October 2013 she was Director of International Programmes at the TecVirtual University (online programmes) of Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico). Dr. Lozano Castro was also Director of the Training and Human Development Centre of the TecVirtual University from 1998 to 2008.
Dr. Raúl Montalvo holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Essex in England, a Master's degree in Economics from the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas, AC (CIDE) in Mexico, and a Bachelor's degree in Administrative Computer Systems. He has short stay studies in Geographical Economics and Overlapping Generations at Universidade Técnica de Lisboa; Business and Chinese Market at Fudan University and Peking University; Data Visualization at Stevens Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship at Babson College. He recently completed a short distance learning program in Customer Analytics at Wharton, a certification in Data Science from IBM's Skill Academy and a bridge-post doctoral certificate in Business Analytics from the University of Texas.
Dr. Montalvo's professional career converges both in the private sector in the insurance industry as well as in academia, consulting, research and as an entrepreneur.
He is currently the director of the EGADE Business School Guadalajara, his areas of teaching and research are related to Strategic Decision Making, Global Management and Business Analytics.
He has participated as a guest professor in countries such as England, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Panama, Spain, France, Japan and the United States.
He has participated as a professor in the Global Network for Advanced Management teaching a SNOC course in Global Management at business schools such as Yale, London School of Economics, Oxford, McGill, Hitotsubashi, and as an instructor in Executive Education programmes for companies such as Ternium, Caterpillar, CISCO, Continental, BIMBO, among others.
He also directed the Business Analytics research group at EGADE Business School.
His publications include authorship and co-authorship of books, book chapters and scientific articles.
He has been a member of the National System of Researchers and participates or has participated in different boards.
Dr. Luis Osorio is a distinguished authority in corporate integration between academia and organizations, revolutionizing how businesses navigate complex global landscapes. With 30 years of high-impact leadership across 20 countries—including the USA, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, and Japan—he has spearheaded innovation and excellence in the energy, manufacturing, and retail sectors.
Professor Himanshu Rai is the Director of IIM Indore. Under his leadership IIM Indore
got the triple crown accreditation of AMBA, AACSB and EQUIS making it one of the 100
institutions in the world to have the honor. Prior to this he has been the Dean of SDA
Bocconi India campus, Professor at SDA Bocconi, Milan, and has taught at IIM Lucknow
and XLRI. His profile includes a stint of over 8 years at Tata Steel, India, where he
played a pivotal role in developing Quality Systems and the Communication Policy for
the Company. He is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad and KREC Surathkal. His book titled
“Negotiation” is a bestseller and his TEDx talk on “Ethical Leadership: Lessons from
the Vedas” won him several accolades the world over. His book titled “Organizational
Behavior” is co-authored with Steven McShane and Mary Ann Von Glinow. He has
trained over 40,000 professionals both in the government as well as private sector in
“Negotiations” and “Leadership”. He provides consultancy to the government of
India, state governments, world bank and the Indian industry and industry bodies.
Himanshu is the Chairperson of the board of directors, Indore Management
Association, Chairperson of the Advisory Board of Durban University of Technology
Business School, South Africa, and Member, International Advisory Board of ESC
Clermont Graduate School of Management, France. He is on the advisory committee
of National Commission for women (NCW), member of the high-powered advisory
committee on Indian Knowledge System (IKS) of Ministry of Education, and member
Vision@2047 committee of the Government of India. He is an independent director on
the boards of several companies and advisor to several startups. His personal
initiative, Centre for Conflict Management is helping resolve intrapersonal and
interpersonal conflicts among the youth across several countries.
He is a recipient of NTSE Scholarship, Infosys Fellowship, and LMA Outstanding
Management Professional Award 2022, among numerous other awards and honours. He
has also been adjudged as being among 25 most influencing voices from India by
LinkedIn and among top 10 motivational speakers from India by Medium.com.
Himanshu also practices and teaches Yoga, and considers the Himalayas his spiritual
abode. Passionate about mountaineering and trekking, he has scaled Kilimanjaro,
Everest Base Camp, Rudragaira, Kala Patthar, Nagakarsang, Khatling and Chandrashila
peaks. He has done the world’s longest zipline and has skydived from 13,000 feet.
An avid quizzer, Himanshu has conducted over a hundred quiz shows across the
country and has had a delightful stint in dramatics with many plays to his credit, both
as an actor and a director. He also juggles a keen interest in reading and collecting
books with a strong passion for music.
Nelson Ribeiro (PhD in Communication and Culture Studies, University of Lincoln) is the Dean of the Faculty of Human Sciences where he also Coordinates the Doctoral Programme in Communication Studies. Member of the Board at the Research Center for Communication and Culture (CECC), he coordinates the research group “Media Narratives and Cultural Memory”. Ribeiro is affiliated with the International Panel on the Information Environment (IPIE) and a member of the Academia Europaea. In 2022 he was the recipient of a fellowship from the Hoover Institution at Stanford University for his research on the relations between Radio Free Europe, the American government, and the Portuguese dictatorship during the Cold War. Presently he is the Chair of the Communication History section at the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR). He is the founding director of the Lisbon Winter School for the Study of Communication, organized in partnership with the Annenberg School for Communication (University of Pennsylvania), the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism (University of Southern California) and the University of Helsinki. Ribeiro is a co-editor of Digital Roots: Historicising Media and Communication Concepts of the Digital Age (De Gruyter, 2021) and is currently working with Barbie Zelizer on Media and Propaganda in an Age of Disinformation (Routledge, 2025).
Rafa Sanchez is President and CEO of Microsoft Mexico, leading the digitization of Mexican communities and businesses through technology initiatives aimed at economic progress, innovation, sustainability, digital well-being and cybersecurity. With more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry, Rafa has served as General Manager at IBM, SAP and Genesys. He has also held various executive positions in Latin America and globally for IBM, SAP and Softtek. Rafa is also active in the world of entrepreneurship, helping startups to use technology to enhance their development. Rafa studied Computer Science, holds a Master's degree in Management and has other postgraduate studies in re-engineering, finance and management skills.
Irina Sennikova is an accomplished academic leader and researcher with a strong focus on
entrepreneurship and innovation. She currently serves as a Board member and the Vice Rector of
Academic and International Affairs at RISEBA University of Applied Sciences in Riga, Latvia.
Irina holds an MA degree in English philology from the University of Latvia, an International
Executive MBA and MSc in Management from IEDC-Bled School of Management (Slovenia),
and a PhD in Management from Kozminski University (Poland). Her doctoral thesis was devoted
to the phenomenon of intellectual entrepreneurship, a topic she has continued to research
extensively. Irina's research interests lie mainly in the area of intellectual entrepreneurship,
entrepreneurial leadership and leadership development, as well as in the development of business
education and its internationalization. She is part of a cross-country research project on Hidden
Champions – innovative SMEs with global reach from dynamic societies, coordinated by
CEEMAN (Association for Management Development in Dynamic Societies), of which Irina is a
Vice President. She previously served as the Rector of RISEBA University for 10 years until her
elected term expired in 2020.
